Located on Spain's northern coast, Barcelona has long been recognized as one of the centers of Modernist architecture.

The works of Gaudi, Picasso and Miro, among others have made this city one of the most interesting and certainly one of the most memorable you'll have experienced.

Montserrat & Modern Barcelona
Visit the Royal Basilica where the Black Virgin's image stands. Upon returning to Barcelona, visit Guell Park, Casa Mila, and the Cathedral of the Sagrada Familia before continuing to either the Picasso Museum or the Museum of Modern Art.

Costa Brava & Empuries
Visit Empuries' Greek and Roman ruins. Then continue onto Estarit where weather permitting, you may take a boat trip to the Medes Islands. Before returning to Barcelona, visit the medieval town of Pals.

Cava Caves and Sitges
South of Barcelona, visit one of the cave cellars, such as in Sandumi d'Anoia and then continue to Vilafranca del Penedes to tour its wine museum. Be sure to leave plenty of time to leisurely enjoy the beautiful resort town of Sitges.
